The server starts up with this message:

The mx console shows:
VersionName: SOA    
VersionNumber: 5.0.0._ER3 (note the additional dot after "5.0.0")
Version: 5.0.0._ER3 (build: SVNTag=5.0.0_ER3_SOA date=200911121638)    

The version displayed at the "JBoss ESB Statistics" level is obviously the same as in the jmx console
Version:  5.0.0._ER3

At the bottom (see screen shot) it is:
JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform: Embedded ESB Server - Version 5.0.0_ER3

The fix for this was reverted for ER5.

Based on TAG-25, we should remove the leading '_' from the designation,
and it should always start with a '.' if present
