The SOA-P 5.0.0 Administration Guide contains two chapters with instructions on how to change the database:

1- Chapter 1.4.9.  Database Configuration

2- Chapter 1.4.10.  Switching Databases

#2 contains manual instructions and can thus be removed completely, as we recommend using the ant schema tool.
#1 highlights the ant schema tool, but has some confusing XML snippets in between which should be removed for clarity.

The SOA-P 4.3 CP02 docs are much clearer in this respect:

Section 1.4.9.  Database Configuration in the version 5 docs need to be replaced with the content from the 4.3.CP04 doc at http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_SOA_Platform/4.3.CP04/html/Administration_Guide/database_configuration.html

Section 1.4.9 should also mention the prerequisites of 1 - having ant installed, 2 - the database you wish to use must already exist and have a user configured for it (these are details you will need).  If any isn't installed there are some directions in the getting started guide

Section  1.4.10 Switching Databases needs to be a subsection at the end of 1.4.9 (ie 1.4.9.1) and the beginning needs to be reworded to indicate that this is an illustration only of the process that the schema tool does, it is included only for reference.  Doing a manual configuration may prevent the schema tool from being able to function if you need to use it.  You should contact support for assistance if doing a custom configuration.

Done.  Section 1.4.9 updated and Section 1.4.10 now moved to 1.4.9.1
