Description Boris Belovic 2010-09-13 08:30:41 UTC
project_key: SOA

Modeshape REST client documentation needs update. URL patterns described in documentation does not invoke specified operation. For example URL http://127.0.0.1:8080/modeshape-rest/resources should list all accessible repositories, but results in this error message: There is no repository named "resources".

Usability and customer sat is important, thus this is made a blocker for SOA 5.1.

do any of the GSG examples cover this ?

Comment 6 Van Halbert 2011-01-25 01:55:52 UTC
No. There is GSG example, publising/unpublishing, using the rest client, but its not the client documentation.

Comment 7 Dana Mison 2011-01-27 09:33:55 UTC
Clarification that the RESTful service is deployed at a different location in the JBoss AS kit has already been added to the upstream docs for ModeShape. That should negate any confusion for someone looking at the ModeShape project docs and for future inclusion of those docs.

And for 5.1.0 GA, the GSG examples cover using the rest client so we have it covered on our end for GA.
