See TEIIDDES-729 for more details. Setting this as blocker, because generated DDL file contains statements that work only with specific tool - SQL*Plus. When I tried to use this file in Ant's sql task it failed. I think the Teiid desinger/ Developer studio should produce DDL file that can be used in general manner, not only with specific tool.

Changes have been committed to Teiid Designer, should make it in a future JBDS release.
