In Teiid Designer, there are usability issues around the use of Teiid server instances.   This jira will track the change in JBDS, for which will have subtask in it for each of the changes that are needed.

2 of the 3 tasks were completed.  The task to enable naming a teiid instance has been pushed to future release.   Therefore, this task can be considered completed.
