A problem occurs when attempting to generate content for messages using the variable initializer. Messages which use type attributes instead of elements fail to have their content rendered when the initializer is applied.

Pushing off to the JBDS 5/SOA time frame since it doesn't appear feasible to fix in the JBDS 4.1 time frame.
