"Error 708 means you do not have any more attribute metadata records remaining, which means you need to increase the value of MaxNoOfAttributes."

Waiting for confirmation that  the MaxNoOfAttributes is not the source of the problem.

The issue isn't in jBPM codebase, but in MySQL cluster configuration. Configuration issue can be solved by increasing value of MaxNoOfAttributes property. Increasing the value of MaxNoOfAttributes property solve the issue and SOA server can be started against MySQL cluster instance without any exceptions - so the issue can be closed.

Release Notes for SOA-P 5.2.0 (see: http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_SOA_Platform/5/html/5.2.0_Release_Notes/index.html) contains information about MySQL cluster configuration and MaxNoOfAttributes property and how it should be set in order to start SOA-P server correctly.
