Currently, this importer is very limited on the data that can be imported.  i.e. on columns you can only import: Name, Datatype, Length and Description.  All the Model, Table and Column properties should be available to import.  Nullability, Cardinality, Precision, Comments, etc.

This is being pushed to Teiid 8.0 (SOA 6.0) because of the effort required.

The current framework is still just "first generation" and really needs go get a make-over. Since the Relational Model XML importer is a complete object import option and that this framework requires "custom" file contents, the XML option seems a better way to go anyway.  Pushing to FUTURE to re-assess later.
