In the EDS Designer (Teiid Designer) we should error, but at the very least have it documented that you should not use spaces or dashes when naming your Teiid Model Project.

Actually addressed and fixed in TEIIDDES-570 and has been in Teiid Designer 7.2+

Project names can include '-' and '_' characters along with alpha numeric characters. SPACES are not allowed.
