For Teiid and for ModeShape, the versions are hard-coded in the source:

  teiid-7.4.x:
    console/src/main/resources/META-INF/rhq-plugin.xml

  modeshape-2.5.x:
    sources/META-INF/rhq-plugin.xml

The plugin version for the ESB plugins should have been set to "SOA-5.2.0".  From the build log:

  Plugin version is SOA-5.2.0
