Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
shamino is having a hard time doing authentication with cephx. I've fixed/hacked a keyring problem in mount.ceph, but the server still is unable to authenticate clients. Discussion on #ceph points to the above bug/fix as solving the problem

If you could please backport that patch (or just rebase to the latest upstream ceph), that would be great.

the latest from upstream (release at least) is 0.39, which I just pushed to updates-testing - I'll take a look at getting 0.39 and backporting this patch.

awesome, thank you!

Just updated to the .39 release, and it appears that the commit listed above is already included. Its fixed my MDS problem. Thanks, and this can be closed.
