Description Othman Madjoudj 2012-01-16 23:23:04 UTC
Description of problem:

Upstream has released a new version of p0f v3 (version 3.00b):

http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/p0f3/

This version is a bit different from 2.x, so I attached a patch to update the current spec file.

SRPM: http://athmane.fedorapeople.org/pkgs/p0f-3.00b-9.fc16.src.rpm

Build OK on f16.
Rawhide scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3707377

NB.

There's some issues with the current version like:

- Incorrect COPYING file (wrong FSF address)
- No manepage for p0f and the other tools.

Release should be 1 not 9, sorry about that.

Comment 3 Kevin Fenzi 2012-01-17 21:12:08 UTC
Looks fine to me. Happy to apply, or if you would like I can add you as a co-maintainer?

I'd suggest only updating rawhide at this point.

I'm not yet a packager (still looking for sponsor and my packages not yet reviewed)

sounds good.

Built into rawhide.

Thanks!
