This has been dropped from dev for 6.3, so I'm bumping to 6.4. The original plan was to change the DN format, which could have required changes to the info on how entries are made and, possibly, changes to CLI examples, screenshots, etc. Reading the latest comments on freeipa ticket #1392 (latest from a few months ago), it looks like the change is in how IPA handles different DN formats by introducing new object classes and by allowing some special characters, but that doesn't really have a customer impact. I think I can close this as notabug. |
