Description Dmitri Pal 2012-01-19 20:54:53 UTC
This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket:
https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/1012

When a host is added to the system, it shows up with no certificate. Additionally, when the "new certificate" button is clicked, there is not enough infomration to the user for how to generate the request.

We should have a link or inline text that explains the command to run on the host in order to generate the certificate request, as well as a brief explanation why the user needs to do it on the host and can't do it from the webUI.

verified using ipa-server-2.2.0-12.el6.x86_64

guidance is provided, but following instructions throws error when issuing cert. Opened bug 818714 for that
