Description norin 1999-12-16 08:33:16 UTC
Hi...i discoverd one thing, regarding the password to root access...

at the login prompt..
login as root
and your password..
don4t press enter ...just keep typing what ever you want
and you will be logged on...
shame thing if i login using su via ssh...
mabye this isn4t a bug but..it sure is rather strange..
as it it doesn4t care what u type afterwards..

Regards Peter

Normal crypt()ed passwords have a limit of eight characters.

If you want longer passwords, run 'authconfig' and select
MD5 passwords.
