Summary: Had Fedora 13 on my Toshiba Equium with no sound problems. Upgraded through versions to 16. Now no sound at all in Wine.

On my Toshiba Equium Laptop, Wine 1.3.29 detects DirectSound only, but fails sound test. Versions 1.3.36 and 37, detect no sound card at all
Sound is fine with normal Linux apps.


Fedora 16, Wine 1.3.29,  1.3.36 and 1.3.37 

Have uninstalled Wine and reinstalled each version with the above results (no sound).

Does this resolve your problem:
Users upgrading their wine prefixes/settings from older wine releases and have been using the wine pulseaudio driver may need to remove the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Drivers\Audio for audio to work.

Many thanks Andreas, this worked fine and got all sound in Wine functioning.
