Description bbonok 2012-01-22 14:16:51 UTC
If your session in Instalation wizard time-out the wizard ask you to enter PIN to authenticate you. The pin is listed in CS.cfg preop.pin option. But with this PIN the system doesn't authenticate you. To start again the Install wizard you have to type again the url in pki-ca-install.log file.

How to reproduce:

1. Start the Install wizard
2. Wait about 20-30 minutes
3. The install wizard the ask you to enter pin to continue the installation.

Seen on RHCS 8.0

Thanks for the bug report.

The installation wizard has never been designed to resume a timed out
installation - and this feature is not likely to be worked on in the 8.x
series.

There is work that is currently ongoing to revamp the installer in the dogtag
tip - but the installer that comes out of that process will be completely
different from the current installer.
