normal and full stack traces captured with gdb

I have run a local Dovecot IMAP server. I use OfflineIMAP to sync my local Maildir with my Zimbra account. So, Zimbra --> OfflineIMAP --> Maildir --> Dovecot --> Thunderbird.

Each morning when I start Thunderbird:
- the status bar reports "Looking for folders..."
- the mouse pointer is animated, with the well-known rotating mozilla (or gnome?) disc
- originally this pointer is shown only when I hover over my folders. I can still click on menu items, for example
- when I try to click on any folder, the app completely freezes (except for the rotating mouse pointer). If I Alt-Tab to another window, then back, Thunderbird can't even refresh its window anymore.
- Then I go to the command line, issue "killall thunderbird-bin". Thunderbird shuts down, I restart it, and everything's fine. Until next morning.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
thunderbird-3.1.16-2.el6_1.x86_64

How reproducible:
100% (each morning)

Actual results:
Thunderbird hangs when started afresh after a longer time of non-use.

Expected results:
Thunderbird never hangs.

Additional info:
Attaching stack trace. I have also saved a core file with the gcore gdb command; ping me if you need it.

OTOH I don't want to give out this core as it can contain private data. I'd be happy to assist with debugging it though. Thanks.

I started testing 10.0.1. For the time being the "Looking for folders" freezes seem to be gone. I'd like to give it some more time.

Works alright.
