Description of problem:
When xlock password protected screensaver is active, other applications can pop up in the foreground. Essentially revealing things like chat conversation of a person who has just messaged you etc.

xlockmore-5.31

How reproducible:
On a slow PC you may try:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch firefox.
2. lock the PC with xlock -mode blank
  
Actual results:

xlock will spawn, and shortly after firefox will come up in the foreground.

Expected results:
xlock to be above all other applications

Thanks for the report. I just tried it with xlockmore-5.38-1.fc18 and cannot reproduce this. I also tried it with 5.34 from Fedora 16. Also no luck.

I am starting libreoffice and xlock immediately after it. I can see the splash screen from libreoffice and then the screen is locked. After unlocking libreoffice is running. But only after unlocking. Closing this bug.

I can confirm that this is actually an issue. Gnome 3 draws over Xlock, sometimes the entire screen. You are unable to use any of the showing applications, but they are there to see. It seems to be random, but more likely the longer things are locked.
