When uploading a new asset file, the asset was not updated and could not be saved until the asset had been closed and reopened, meaning that users lost any changes they had applied to the asset. This has been corrected so that the assets is closed and reopened after it has been checked in, ensuring users are able to save any further changes they make.

This has been fixed in master but not backported as it has not been agreed (yet) to be in 5.3.x. Please be sure to let me know if you want it 5.3.x and I can backport. Back-ported to 5.3.x. Please verify the issue on 5.3 ER4.
