A nice feature would be to have a password manager for the internal browser.

I'm going to take the liberty of closing this bug WONTFIX.
This sounds way too intrusive to maintain as a patch to the application and, after 10 months. this bug doesn't seem to have a lot of traction behind it.

FWIW, upstream has been submitted a patch that add GNOME Keyring support to liferea.
