I forgot, my computer:
  - Motherboard: Asus P8h67
  - CPU: Intel i5 2300
  - Graphics: Asus GF GTX 550 TI 1GB
  - RAM: Kingston DDR3 8GB 1333MXZ CL9 HX BLU 2x4GB

Comment 2 Sergio 2012-01-28 22:55:51 UTC
Tested kernel-3.1.10-2.fc16.x86_64 and works fine.
The problems are in 3.2.x-x jump.

Comment 3 Artyom Kunyov 2012-03-07 17:35:27 UTC
Same problem for me. My graphics card is GTX 550 Ti too, and it still doesn't work in F17 with kernel 3.3rc6.

Comment 4 Artyom Kunyov 2012-03-07 17:39:10 UTC
This bug is reproducible in Arch and Debian, so it's not related to Fedora. I've sent bug report to kernel.org, here is the link: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42876

Comment 5 Sergio 2012-03-07 21:37:39 UTC
Thanks for the info.

Comment 6 Cédric 2012-03-10 23:53:22 UTC
Same here, I'm staying in kernel-3.1.9.fc16.x86_64 to make it work. All 3.2 versions don't work. And I also have a Nvidia GTX 550 graphics card ...

Comment 7 Artyom Kunyov 2012-03-11 06:00:24 UTC
Have anyone tried to update card's firmware?

Comment 8 Cédric 2012-03-21 19:49:02 UTC
I've the latest firmware version for my Gigabyte graphics card, which is 70.26.18.00.02

Comment 9 Sergio 2012-04-27 13:42:10 UTC
Tested new Ubuntu 12.04 (kernel 3.2), same problem.
Can I help in any way to speed up the solution to the problem? Just ask.

Comment 10 Artyom Kunyov 2012-04-27 16:28:05 UTC
I've tried the latest Fedora 17 nightly build with kernel 3.4 - nothing has changed.

Comment 11 Sergio 2012-06-05 12:55:44 UTC
openSUSE 12.2 Beta Live (Kernel 3.4) worked for me !!!!

Comment 12 Fedora End Of Life 2013-01-16 12:30:00 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora
'version' of '16'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version'
to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 16's end of life.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that
we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 16 is end of life. If you
would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it
against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged to click on
"Clone This Bug" and open it against that version of Fedora.

Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's
lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes
bugs or makes them obsolete.

The process we are following is described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping

Comment 13 Fedora End Of Life 2013-02-13 12:47:58 UTC
Fedora 16 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-02-12. Fedora 16 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
