Description Peter Backes 2012-01-27 23:42:33 UTC
Description of problem:
when running fixfiles check, messages are logged that claim that the files with differing labels were relabelled, which they (correctly) were not.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
policycoreutils-2.1.4-13.fc16.i686

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. touch test.file
2. chcon -t user_home_t test.file
3. fixfiles check

Actual results:
A message is logged in /var/log/messages claiming test.file to have been relabelled:
Jan 28 00:38:56 helen setfiles: relabeling /root/test.file from unconfined_u:object_r:user_home_t:s0 to unconfined_u:object_r:admin_home_t:s0

Expected results:
no such message is logged.

Additional info:
running merely "fixfiles check test.file" doesn't trigger the problem

Comment 1 Miroslav Grepl 2012-01-30 12:30:18 UTC
Yes, the "fixfiles check" is not supposed to do relabeling.

Comment 2 Daniel Walsh 2012-01-31 19:53:23 UTC
