Description of problem:
After updating the kernel package from 3.1 to 3.2 wifi broke

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
 3.2.2-1.fc16.i686

How reproducible:
Boot system

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot system
2. Load LXDE
3. No wifi networks in NM
  
Actual results:
No wifi

Expected results:
Wifi

Additional info:
Bootin kernel 3.1.9-1.fc16.i686 fixes the problem

See my reply in that bug.  You're reporting issues against F16 kernels, so it doesn't matter what userspace you are using.
