Description Chaskiel Grundman 2012-01-30 20:01:10 UTC
Description of problem:
Part of the rewrite introduced by the fix for 595322 causes snmpd to only report fileystem types it knows about, and ignore all others. We have several servers that use vxfs/vxvm, and after they were updated to net-snmp 5.3.2.2-14, the vxfs filesytems stopped being reported in the hrFSTable and hrStorageTable.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.3.2.2-14.el5_7.1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create and mount a vxfs (or hfs(plus), xfs, jfs, udf, or other filesystem unsupported by 5.3.2.2-14.el5_7.1)
2. snmpdf -v2c -c <string> <hostname>
3.

Actual results:
data only appears for memory, and some mounted filesystems

Expected results:
data appears for all mounted filesystems that have "real" backing data behind theml

Additional info:
upstream added vxfs, xfs, and jfs in october (commit c199bf91b6239f26b2aab34e8575e0f0df9cde9b)

This is already being fixed, stay tuned for RHEL 5.8.
