Description Daniel Siderius 2012-01-31 14:43:29 UTC
Description of problem:
Beginning with the 3.2.1 kernel, the headphone jack on my docking station (Dell Port Replicator) is not operable. This problem persists in the 3.2.2 kernel. The headphone jack on the actual laptop (Dell E6400) does work. Reverting to the 3.1.9 kernel restores functionality of the docking station headphone jack.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.1

How reproducible:
Persists at each reboot

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start with kernel 3.1.9 or earlier; headphone jack works fine.
2. Upgrade to kernel 3.2.1 or newer
3. Try playing music / sound / any audio media

Actual results:
No sound from headphones when plugged into the docking station. Sound settings in GNOME indicate that an audio program is working.

Expected results:
Sound should come from the headphones
