The current EPEL 6 nagios is stale

Description of problem:

per the banner outlink at the top of a fresh install

Update Required

Your installation of Nagios Core 3.2.3 is outdated and 
should be upgraded. The latest version of Nagios Core is 
3.3.1 was released on 2011-07-25.

nagios-3.2.3-8

How reproducible:

simple install via yum of 'nagios' 

Steps to Reproduce:

run:
 yum install nagios
with the EPEL archive enabled
  
Actual results:

Update Required

Your installation of Nagios Core 3.2.3 is outdated and 
should be upgraded. The latest version of Nagios Core is 
3.3.1 was released on 2011-07-25.

Expected results:

a current install

nagios-3.3.1-1 has just been built and should appear soon in the epel-6-testing repositories. Testing and karma points are welcome.

Feedback about nagios-3.3.1-2.el6 is welcome:

 * yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing nagios

On Freenode the topic for #nagios has for a while now started with:

"Current Stable Versions: Core 3.2.3 (3.3.1 has serious bugs), Plugins 1.4.15 | http://www.nagios.org/ | ..." 

Does anyone know if this applies to the epel version as well ?
