error reporting is busted if we fail to connect to remote connection. For example:

virt-manager --connect qemu+ssh://root@some-host-that-doesnt-exist/system

will just leave a traceback in the logs, and not pop up any error message. Fixed upstream here:

Whoops, I keep thinking that I rebased virt-manager for rhel6.3! This bug isn't relevant for RHEL, but fedora, so dropping ACKs and moving there.

* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing virt-manager-0.9.1-2.fc16'
as soon as you are able to.
