Description of problem:

need doc around the deletion of comp outlines and application blueprints when they are used by running deployments

its my understanding.. we should allow

deployment/application xml to be deleted
but not allow images/component outlines to be deleted

Comment 1 Dan Macpherson 2012-02-08 05:14:15 UTC
Wes, I tested out deleting both a app blueprint and a comp outline for a running image and could delete both successfully. (Using 0.8.0-21)

Could you elaborate on what's supposed to happen when you try to delete images/component outlines? Or is this a case where we just recommend against deleting images/component outlines?

Comment 2 wes hayutin 2012-02-08 13:50:11 UTC
Right.. Dan you should not be able to delete the component outline according to sseago
