Description Kjartan Maraas 2012-02-04 16:50:28 UTC
Description of problem:

After updating to rawhide and I think after the Xorg update to 2.6.99.x the mouse is very hard to use and seems not to be affected by the settings panel in GNOME 3 any more.

xorg-x11-drv-evdev-2.6.99.901-7.20120118git9d9c9870c.fc17.i686

still cant change the touchpad speed with the settings panel on
fc17-alpha as of
  xorg-x11-drv-evdev-2.7.0-1.fc17.x86_64
however me hand-eye coordination seems to be improving ;')

Comment 2 collura 2012-03-15 18:49:52 UTC
hmm for me the recent update to

    Updated xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.5.99-7.20120207git141d9120b.fc17.x86_64 @koji-override-0/$releasever
    Update 1.5.99-8.20120223git0a2fd560a.fc17.x86_64 @updates-testing

seems to have slowed the touchpad to a more useable speed for me.

ya thanks for fix

( still haveing problems changing speed/acceleration appreciably with the settings gui but thats another bug and the standard speed is way more useable now)

Comment 3 Kjartan Maraas 2012-03-15 19:32:13 UTC
I see the same here after updating.

Comment 4 Peter Hutterer 2013-01-31 04:53:17 UTC
