This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.) Description of problem: This isn't a bug, but rather an enhancement - with ready-made solution provided at the end as a patch to the .spec file. Currently a whole bunch of modules are build by "default" and this requires me to clogg my system up with a lot of (possibly) unnecessary dependencies (BuildRequires). With the attached patch, I brake this down and allow the following modules (as well as all of their dependencies) to be omitted from the build, if desired: mysql odbc postgresql radius snmp misdn ldap Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 10.0.0 - The latest from RAWHIDE (fc17) How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. apply the attached patch (use -p1) 2. cd rpmbuild/SPECS 3. modify the .spec file to include/exclude the above modules/packages as desired 4. rpmbuild -bb asterisk.spec After this, the build should succeed with the desired selection of modules/packages Additional info: I also added the ability to compile asterisk, using multiple jobs at once to speed things up (included %{?_smp_mflags} in all make commands for the build). I also removed the 2 lines where /etc//sysconfig/asterisk is required because this file is not provided with the source distribution (see my previous Bug 787387)
