Description Amit Shah 2012-02-05 03:08:10 UTC
Description of problem:

I have an SSD h/d. liferea 1.6 was performing acceptably, without stalls on this setup. After the recent update to 1.8, liferea consumes 100% cpu when updating feeds and also stalls for long times, making the app useless at those times.

From the strace output, it looks like it's peeking in feeds which have been disabled (set to not update automatically). Wonder why it does that, and this could be a separate bug, but mentioning it here anyway.

Thank you for taking the time reporting this bug.

However, it seems like this specific bug has already been reported. Please have a look at bug #786070, and see if your problem is the same. If so, please mark your report as a duplicate of the former bug.

Thank you!
