Comment 1 Miroslav Grepl 2012-02-07 11:03:23 UTC
Try to execute

$ restorecon -R -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /etc/WebCalendar

and let me know if everythin works for you. Thank you.

Comment 2 John Griffiths 2012-02-07 17:19:15 UTC
# restorecon -R -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /etc/WebCalendar
restorecon: invalid option -- 't'
usage: restorecon [-iFnprRv0] [ -L labelprefix ] [-e excludedir ] [-o filename ] [-f filename | pathname... ]

Comment 3 John Griffiths 2012-02-07 17:23:07 UTC
I did a restorecon -Rv /etc/WebCalendar and it did nothing.

Did you mean chcon -R -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /etc/WebCalendar ?

Also the main portion of WebCalendar is in /usr/share/WebCalendar.

Comment 4 Miroslav Grepl 2012-02-07 17:35:34 UTC
Ah, my fault. I meant

# chcon -t -R -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /etc/WebCalendar

Comment 5 John Griffiths 2012-02-07 18:59:21 UTC
Did that. No more alert.

WebCalendar is still not working correctly (bug 788217), but I do not think that is a selinux issue.

Comment 6 Daniel Walsh 2012-02-07 20:02:36 UTC
Why does WebCalendar wrighting into /etc

If it is storing content it should be in /var/lib/WebCalendar or if it is temporary in /var/run/WebCalendar

Comment 7 John Griffiths 2012-02-07 20:08:56 UTC
This occurred during configuration of WebCalendar. It may not be needed during normal operation. I do not know that.
