Description Aziza Karol 2012-02-07 10:07:52 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
Broswer1:
login as admin and created a user "azdev".
created a newzone called "test" and launched an deployment in it.
To the zone "test" added a user "azdev" with role "Zone owner".

broswer2:
login as "azdev" and stop the instance and then delete the deployment.
instances were stopped and deleted successfully.

Browser1:
change the role from "Zone owner to Zone user"

browser2:
try to destroy the zone "test"

it displays "Cloud resource zone was not deleted. There are instances associated with it".
see attached screenshot.

Expected results:
It should not display this message as there were no instances associated with it. it was already deleted.
zone user should not be allowed to destroy zones"

See if you can reproduce this now. I'm getting the proper 'permission denied' error, and looking at the code, it looks like it's been fixed already.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=795666 Seems to report something similar, and that's when the code was changed, so I suspect this can be closed as a duplicate of the other.

Comment 3 Aziza Karol 2012-09-03 06:46:55 UTC
zone user is not allowed to delete zones.
Edit/delete option not avaliable.Hence this issue can be closed.
