Users without administrative privileges were unable to view the roles and permissions assigned to them. This bug fix updates the application_controller.rb file so that all users can view their roles and permissions under their account.

moving version to 1.0.0 . version = found in version We need to add UI to allow users, irrespective of their privileges, to see the set of roles assigned to them, but this is out of scope for 1.0. ack.. post 1.0 Yes, this was planned all along (but got pushed post-1.0). Basically any permission grant connects a user and a resource. The current permission UI works from the resource side (What users have permission for _this_ ?) -- we also need to build out the same UI from the user side (what does _this user_ have permission grants on?) This is not only needed for a user to see his own grants, but so an admin can go to a user profile page and add several permission grants to this user in one place rather than having to individually navigate to each pool/instance/whatever. *** Bug 807449 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This was pushed to master with commit ab257a2b4ca4d177184a499b92f9424c8387daf0
