moving version to 1.0.0 . version = found in version

Comment 3 Angus Thomas 2012-02-23 14:19:06 UTC
We need to add UI to allow users, irrespective of their privileges, to see the set of roles assigned to them, but this is out of scope for 1.0.

Comment 4 wes hayutin 2012-02-23 15:48:35 UTC
ack.. post 1.0

Comment 5 Scott Seago 2012-02-29 21:58:38 UTC
Yes, this was planned all along (but got pushed post-1.0).

Basically any permission grant connects a user and a resource. The current permission UI works from the resource side (What users have permission for _this_ ?) -- we also need to build out the same UI from the user side (what does _this user_ have permission grants on?) This is not only needed for a user to see his own grants, but so an admin can go to a user profile page and add several permission grants to this user in one place rather than having to individually navigate to each pool/instance/whatever.
