You use the live environment to configure networking during a live install, and then anaconda will just propagate that information to the finished system. <adamw> satellit_: like chris says: you.re meant to just configure the network on the desktop, not in anaconda. <satellit_> Fedora-17-Nightly-20120206.11-x86_64-Live-desktop.iso does not allow it to happen either on the installed HD or on the live CD no pop ups after selecting the AP (which it sees) in network settings (it lists it as disconnected) <satellit_> adamw: there is a bug here gnome3 /system settings /network sees wireless AP but selection on drop down list does not stick (shows disconnected) for all 5 wireless AP's shown This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle. Changing version to '19'. (As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.) More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping/Fedora19 Is this still a problem with Fedora 19? fixed in f20/21 |
