I didn't quite understand the "You can override the default behavior by renaming this to <fqdn>_cleanup" comment in cleanup but I tried it as well without any luck.
I think you meant to run "aeolus-cleanup -p rhevm" which will use /etc/aeolus-configure/nodes/rhevm_cleanup instead of "aeolus-cleanup" which uses /etc/aeolus-configure/nodes/default_cleanup. Good catch on the confusing comment.
