Description of problem:

I created a large number of targets (100+ luns) in iscsi and tried to log in to some of the targets.
the webadmin is very slow on the first one and propagates the attached script error in browser on the second login.
by the third connection the new domain dialogue will appear almost empty.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-3.0.0_0001-1.4.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a large number of targets in the storage server
2. open create new domain dialogue and start logging in to the targets
3.

Actual results:

on the second target we get a script error:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding.
You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script
will complete.

Script:

Expected results:

we should not be getting this error

Daniel, is this a duplicate of Bug 773296 which also describes a problem of a "stuck" web-admin when logging into targets? Note that in this bug, the "Login" button is used IIUC and in Bug 773296, the "Login All" button is used.

[Question is if the solution to Bug 773296 solves also the problem that is described here?]

Comment 2 Daniel Erez 2012-02-09 11:56:55 UTC
Yes, the fix for Bug 773296 should also be applicable to this one.
commit 29a7ebe54fbba9b933ba67d1cdc2268c40fe15e1
