You need to change a label VBoxOGL.so $ chcon -t lib_t /lib/VBoxOGL.so but better solution would be the following $ semanage fcontext -a -e /lib /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-4.1.8/lib $ restorecon -R -v /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-4.1.8/lib It tells SELinux to label /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-4.1.8/lib as lib_t. Was not completely smooth, but you did get enough information to me to get it working. First I ran your Better Solution from above and that did not correct the problem by itself. So I also added the first item above with an error message about file missing I believe. $ chcon -t lib_t /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-4.1.8/lib/VBoxOGL.so instead of $ chcon -t lib_t /lib/VBoxOGL.so if that makes a difference?
