more info. I rebuilt the initramfs with "dracut -f" and applied the patch referenced in bugzilla 789119 and nothing has changed. FWIW, just prior to dracut reporting that it's caught a signal I see: dracut: Disassembling device-mapper devices dracut: Disassembling mdraid devices Then it catches the signal, reports it can't open the font file and the keytable (latarcyrheb_sun16 and us), and drops to the shell prompt. If I exit the shell I get a kernel panic and have to hard reboot. dracut-015-9.git20120213.fc17 Yep, that seems to have fixed it. Thanks. |
