I wasn't aware 25 was going to go to f16, but thanks for the heads up. I can't build python-alsa 25 until alsa hits stable. If there's a way to do this while it's in updates-testing that I've forgotten please let me know. You can request a buildroot overrides: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bodhi/BuildRootOverrides Perex might help if there is a special ACL needed to tag alsa-lib in overrides. Which build do I specify? The old alsa-lib, the new alsa-lib? Neither works. The alsa-lib-1.0.25 build is in expired ones (second page). You need to enter new expiration date there to re-activate it. I extended it to 2/14, but the build still failed, is there a delay? Yes, I think 30 minutes. That worked, thanks! python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16 Package python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-1639/python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16 then log in and leave karma (feedback). python-alsa-1.0.25-1.fc16 has been pushed to the Fedora 16 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
