Description Simo Sorce 2012-02-13 22:43:57 UTC
install systemd-42-1.fc17 (which is supposed to fix a horrible bug at boot with SELinux)

now systemctl is broken, running it to check the status of any service returns:

Failed to get D-Bus connection: Failed to connect to socket /run/systemd/private: No such file or directory

Comment 1 Michal Schmidt 2012-02-13 22:46:07 UTC
no, just a failed daemon-reexec. "sync && reboot -f" and it should work again.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 789758 ***

Comment 2 Simo Sorce 2012-02-13 22:47:00 UTC
Reboot also fails now.

# reboot
Failed to open /dev/initctl: No such device or address
Failed to talk to init daemon.
