Description Jason Connor 2012-02-14 07:46:38 UTC
Actual results:
No mention of gofer, its role on the consumer, or its configuration in the consumer or client user guide

Expected results:
Step to verify gofer is installed or at the very least, configuration step mentioned in user guide

Need to address chkconfig on for pulp-agent

Comment 2 Jay Dobies 2012-04-11 14:20:39 UTC
It's intentional that the term "gofer" isn't mentioned in the guide. The user should only see Pulp related terminology.

The configuration for gofer is done through Pulp's .conf file which is described here:
http://pulpproject.org/ug/UGClientIntroduction.html#configuration

Todd is correct that we'll need to add documentation to inform the user on the need to make sure pulp-agent runs on startup.
