Description Tobias Mueller 2012-02-15 09:31:24 UTC
Description of problem:
I noticed that my crashers haven't been catched by abrt for a long time now.

$ systemctl status abrtd.service
abrtd.service - ABRT Automated Bug Reporting Tool
	  Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/abrtd.service; enabled)
	  Active: active (running) since Mon, 13 Feb 2012 19:38:01 +0100; 1 day and 14h ago
	Main PID: 924 (abrtd)
	  CGroup: name=systemd:/system/abrtd.service
		  └ 924 /usr/sbin/abrtd -d -s
$ sudo systemctl restart abrtd.service
$ cat /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern
core
$

I would have expected that once I (re)start abrtd, the core_pattern is set accordingly.

It might be a problem since I upgraded to F16.

Comment 1 Nikola Pajkovsky 2012-02-15 12:51:26 UTC
$ sudo systemctl start abrt-ccpp.service

Comment 2 Tobias Mueller 2012-02-15 14:14:06 UTC
yep, that helps. Sorry for the noise. I wonder why that service got disabled with the upgrade to F16 though.

Comment 3 Jiri Moskovcak 2012-08-10 07:27:19 UTC
Should be fixed since abrt-2.0.10-4
