Description Fabian Deutsch 2012-02-16 19:58:59 UTC
To allow non-english users to use oVirt Node it makes sense to add gettext support and some translations to the user visible parts of oVirt Node.
Right now this would include the installer TUI and init scripts.

A discussion was started here: http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/node-devel/2012-February/000130.html

Now that the TUI is on a better base it is easier to add some translatable strings.

Comment 2 Fabian Deutsch 2013-08-07 13:18:37 UTC
Pushed to 3.1.0 for now.

But maybe we should discuss if we wan't an i18n with real translations, or if the localization wrt different kbd layouts is enough for our case.

Comment 3 Mike Burns 2013-08-15 13:56:01 UTC
my feeling is that we want full translation eventually, but not going to be possible in the near term. Probably a 4.0 feature...

Comment 4 Sandro Bonazzola 2014-01-27 13:50:51 UTC
This should be fixed in oVirt 3.4.0 beta1 build

Comment 5 Sandro Bonazzola 2014-03-31 15:04:45 UTC
This is an automated message: moving to Closed CURRENT_RELEASE since oVirt 3.4.0 has been released.
