Description J.C. Molet 2012-02-16 20:44:34 UTC
Description of problem:
If you open subscription-manager-gui with LANG="" or with it unset, it does not default to your system's locale properly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
subscription-manager-gnome-0.99.7-1.git.2.ea25297.el6.x86_64
subscription-manager-0.99.7-1.git.2.ea25297.el6.x86_64
python-rhsm-0.99.3-1.git.0.297a17c.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install rhsm on a rhel 6 system
2. start rhsm-gui with: LANG="" subscription-manager-gui (or unset LANG)
3. Look at the date fields.

Actual results:
Date fields are in the format MM/DD/YY (kind of confusing)

Expected results:
My lang displays date fields in MM/DD/YYYY (en_US.UTF-8)

What is the default locale for a system?
