Comment 2 Prabhat Jha 2008-11-05 17:40:27 UTC
I have found the difference between IE7 and Firefox 2 on wherethe page Test and TestWithAjax are displayed. On IE, it's displayed towards the right of the window and on FF, it's on left. Does this need to be fixed?

Comment 3 Prabhat Jha 2008-11-05 18:00:42 UTC
Rest looks good. Once I have feedback on previous comment, i will close this jira.

Comment 4 Thomas Heute 2008-11-06 09:42:08 UTC
If you mean that the order of the tabs is not consistent, that might be possible, i'm not sure all tab orders are explicitly set. (So at the end they are randomly ordered).

Before you close, there is this issue reported in the forums:
http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4187113#4187113 with IE7

Comment 5 Prabhat Jha 2008-11-06 15:02:08 UTC
No, not order of tabs. Please see the attached screen shots. On FF, portlet is placed on the left side of the screen and on IE7, it's towards right.

I see the commits. I need to verify the fix.

I had found this two bad features during IE7 manual testing.

BUG 1:

When Internet explorer 7 is in the non-maximized mode, then the portlets, which have help mode don't look good (see attachement screenshot-portlet-with-help-mode.PNG)

BUG 2:

- I have a CMS window with a picture and I give it the property InitialMode to value minimized. Theme properties are set to divRenderer.

- After looking at the page with this CMS window, I have a Window with the value 'null' (attachement screenshot-cms-minimized.PNG). When I click to normal, then the behaviour is good and the picture is shown. After click to minimize the behaviour is still good and the portlet becomes minimized with no content. The bad behaviour with the 'null' sign is shown only during first start (or logout and login and then show the page again).

- The behaviour is same in Chrome browser (I think this bug not depend on browser)

- This occurs not only in CMS but with portlet or filesystem content too.

This issue was related to EPP 43 and so it's out of date. For completeness, automated selenium test for EPP43 on IE7 is on http://hudson.qa.jboss.com/hudson/view/EPP/job/epp-selenium-tests-IE7/
