project_key: JBEPP

EPP 4.3.0.GA CP02 already has a workaround for invald UTF-8 xml of some Google Widgets (JBEPP-109). Thanks to that, you can use Google Talk and Google Calendar now.
But you cannot use Gmail Widget yet because of another invalid xml.
Xerces shows this error message.

2009-08-25 10:42:56,418 ERROR [STDERR] [Fatal Error] :1:2: Reference is not allowed in prolog.

The invalid xml is
http://www.google.com/ig/modules/builtin_content/ko_ALL.xml
It has ZERO WIDTH NO-BREAK SPACE character(#xFEFF) at the beginning of the xml.

Comment 2 Magesh Bojan 2009-09-16 11:43:49 UTC
The url tested for GMail here was
http://www.google.com/ig/modules/builtin_gmail.xml

This is not a hosted widget/gadget. It is proprietary for Google to be used only in their Homepages. The contents of the above url says:

Content type="html">
   this is a builtin module, so the UserPrefs and Content are ignored.
</Content>

To use GMail gadgets pick one from here:
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&q=gmail

or use this
http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/100189614040474989184/mail.xml
