Description Michal Vanco 2010-09-17 13:21:07 UTC
Affects: Release Notes
project_key: JBEPP

 - deploy some remotable portlet
 - Add WSRP Configuration at some category (or auto import) and add it on page
 - activate consumer self
 - go to App.registry
 - (auto import) - not necessary
 - create or select some category
 - click Add application to category
 - choose Application type: wsrp
 - select portlet and save
 - click on portlet at category -> dialog with Unknown error appears, log attached
javax.jcr.RepositoryException: Illegal path entry: "app:"

I verified with epp5 ga with the same result.

(it is problem with self producer or between 2 epp5 instances, with remote producers it works properly)

Comment 11 Scott Mumford 2010-11-10 03:15:24 UTC
Release Notes Text: Added: Hardcoded portlet ID format expectations in the Application Registry produced an exception when adding a new remotable portlet to a category if EPP was the producer (either self-consuming or from another EPP instance).

A workaround has been introduced to the code to avoid this issue
