project_key: JBEPP

login as root
Click on Group -> WSRP -> Producer configuration
Check or uncheck "Requires registration. Modifying this information will trigger invalidation of consumer registrations." (depends on if it was/wasn't checked before)
don't press save, just logout

after next login, you see you last settings in Producer configuration

Comment 1 Chris Laprun 2010-12-16 09:02:32 UTC
Hmm, this should have been addressed by GTNWSRP-31… Let me check.

Comment 2 Chris Laprun 2010-12-16 09:25:15 UTC
The changes don't seem to be persisted which is how it's supposed to be. However, I'm not sure how they currently survive the session expiration… :(

Comment 3 Thomas Heute 2010-12-16 09:29:28 UTC
The WSRP admin GUI session is still alive unless you login with a different user.

Comment 4 Chris Laprun 2010-12-16 09:34:59 UTC
There seems to be a JSF error somewhere. Not sure yet if it's due to the admin GUI code or bridge but the producer bean which is supposed to be session-scope survives the session expiration. Or maybe it's a bigger issue and there's something wrong with the session expiration in EPP… :(

Comment 5 Thomas Heute 2010-12-16 09:37:58 UTC
The session will only expire if you let it time out. It will be emptied if you login under a different user.

Comment 6 Chris Laprun 2010-12-16 12:25:03 UTC
This is not a WSRP admin issue but stems from how GateIn deals with sessions.
